Wordpress 2.7.1 Upgrade
Just a quick post here. As you can see from the screen shot, I’ve finally upgraded my Wordpress version to 2.7.1. The dashboard looks nicer than the previous version that I used. I haven’t really checked all the new features yet, perhaps later on.
There’s one thing I noticed about the new features, especially in the Add New Posts section. They actually have a word counter on the bottom left of the writing pane! Now that’s a really useful new feature, at least for me though. The whole thing seems a little bit unresponsive compared to the last version that I used, which is version 2.5 RC1, but I just have to get use to it.
Anyway, it does feel good to do something new for this blog after two months of near inactivity. I hope I can go back to writing more post(s). Okay, just thought I let you guys know. See you later!

It DOES feel good, totally agree with that. I’m back in blogging again this month. Feels so good…

I’ve been using this 2.7.1 for the past weeks, and the GUI looked prettier, although I sense it’s kinda ‘less snappy’ compare to the last version.

I will. To prepare, you must have a Wordpress.com account in order to get API key. And you also have to download the latest Akismet plugins for Wordpress.
