After several days of almost unbearable hot days and nights, this evening the temperature is considerably cooler, with a nice breeze carrying the scent of rain. I actually enjoyed the ride from my office to my home, which is quite rare nowadays, considering the traffic and undisciplined drivers I met along the way.

The cool air makes me want to spend the evening sitting around in the front porch, relaxing while drinking a cup of hot tea. Too bad I can’t do that since I don’t have anything to relax upon. I remember having this long couch made of bamboo once. It was fun to relax upon it.

Considering the somewhat humid weather of Jakarta, and the occurrence of rainy season, you need to choose an outdoor furniture that is made from durable materials. That way, it can withstand the weather and we won’t have to replace it somewhere near in the future, perhaps someday but none too soon.

Oh well, speaking of relaxing, I guess I really need to relax now; it is quite a busy day after all. See you around then!
