To Forget or Not To Forget

That is the question, simply put. I found that the more things you have on your mind, the higher the probabilities that you’re going to forget one, if not some of them. Oh, how I wish I have those so-called photographic memories. Or on second thought, I better not.

There was such experience just yesterday, when we are visiting my wife’s mother who lives just outside of town. Since we only stay for a night there during the weekend, we didn’t carry many luggages with us, just some clothes and stuffs.

But even then, my wife managed to forget her watch. We are almost halfway on our journey back home when she said she left her watch at her mother’s house. She then asked me to turn around and back to her mother’s house so she can get her watch.

I was reluctant but hey, her wish is my command, lol. The watch is no Movado, but it is new so I can actually understand why my wife would want me to turn around and get back. So turn around and get back I did, although to both our disappointment.

As it happened, I can’t find the watch anywhere, until we got back home and she found it inside one of our luggage. Anyway, although somewhat annoyed, I’m still glad that it was found. If the wife’s happy then I’m happy, lol.
