Perhaps Later
I just have my roof repaired these last two days. The damages were quite severe, but fortunately it is quite finished. I was quite relieved earlier last night thinking that I didn’t have to worry about rain anymore since the repairs are almost finished. Well apparently I was wrong.
It has been raining for 5 hours straight and it shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. It is one of the heaviest rains I’ve ever experienced, and apparently quite finished is not enough to stop the roof from leaking. There are still some spots where the rain leaked through, and the only way to prevent it from leaking is if the repairs are 100% finished.
I admit, it got me quite frustrated earlier. Not to mention that there are some new leak spots near the kitchen. Oh well, you can’t really expects much from an old house. I guess I should be thankful enough that it was still somewhat tolerable.
Such is life is guess. I wish I can just sit back and relax, enjoying a nice cup of coffee, reading some good books and leave all the troubles behind. Not much chance of it happening anytime soon I guess. I have to live in the present for now and shoulder my responsibilities; perhaps later then, perhaps later….
