Life on the Road
I cannot really claim myself as an adventurous person, but I do feel that life without a little challenge here and there would be quite dull. I also noticed that as an ordinary salary man, life gets dull sooner or later; especially if you are living the same routine day after day, week after week, years after years.
I realized that without a goal, life gets pretty boring, so I always tried to have goals that I need to accomplish even if only one at a time. To make it more interesting the goal should also be a challenging one. Although despite all of that life could get boring anyway. So that’s why we need to have vacation now and then.
As a city person, I found it hard to leave town for a vacation where there are little amusement to be had. I admire people who could leave from all those and live a life of adventure because I think those persons are courageous. I often wondered myself what would life be living like that, so carefree.
I especially liked the idea of living on the road, just like people who live in an RV. Of course adopting such a lifestyle here in Indonesia could be considered impractical if not impossible. There’s just no good support for people who want to adopt such lifestyle, unlike in the U.S
There they have specialized parking lot, good interstate road route, and even insurance and emergency assistance such as the one offered by www.goodsamesp.com. Perhaps then living a life on the road is not so impossible anymore. As for now let’s be content with what we have.
