If you read my last post, then you should know what I am writing about. I just can’t get rid of traveling from my mind, so I decided to browse and look around before I go to sleep. It was a kind of strange, I have to admit. Ranting about stuffs like these is definitely not my forte.

Anyway, it was probably because I just got back from a vacation with family and close relatives. It was not very far, only around a couple hundred of kilometers away from Jakarta. It was an enjoyable vacation nonetheless; just perfect to spend the long weekend. I was sad that it was over now. Read the rest of this entry »

I rarely got the chance to travel around very often, although I have to admit that I like traveling. Fortunately, when the chance to do some traveling did arrive, I was able to travel without a lot of expense on my part. I was quite lucky, I have to admit that. I am thankful for all the traveling opportunities that were given to me.

It was probably not much compared to people whose live is spent traveling, but I still consider it a blessing. I have been given the opportunity to visit several interesting places because there are people kind enough to give me the chance to do so. I just wish I can bring back some souvenir for keepsakes. It’s been a while, but lately the workload at the office is slowly but surely subsiding. That is truly a welcome change for me, so I can do a lot more research. I guess anyone at some point in their life must have experienced that time when they have so much more to do, but not enough time to do it.

Anyway, this is not holiday season yet, but still I think I really could use a vacation right now. We all need a vacation at certain points in our lives. A nice vacation could go a long way to rejuvenate your spirit. Perhaps in two or three years I could go in  a vacation with my family. Read the rest of this entry »

As it happened, I got to leave town for several days. You could say that it was bad timing, being near the end of the month where most of the bills are due. It means that I have to do things at much more quicker pace than I’m comfortable with, but since I agreed to do it in the first place, I can’t really complain, can I?

I’ll be visiting the Province of South-East Celebes, for several days. It was a somewhat business trip, although not necessarily associated with my work. You can say it was a pilgrimage of sorts, with a little bit of vacation thrown in. I don’t get to bring my family though, which made me feel sad somehow.

I hope it will be nice there, and perhaps I could use a little vacation anyway, with all the workload at the office pressuring me. Speaking of vacation, this is only a domestic trip, and I really wish I can visit interesting places in the world someday. There’s several destination that I would like to visit someday.

It has been a while since the last time I had a vacation. I could really use one to be honest with you, but then again I have to be patient and wait for the right means and opportunity. Speaking of which, I found on the net this nice looking place for a vacation called Branson.

Branson is a city in the state of Missouri in the U.S. By the look of it they seem like a perfect place for a vacation. They boast a full range of shows; Chinese acrobats, Music Legends, Incredible Magic and even more! Just reading their list of shows is enough to make me want to go there even more!

Even if shows are not your thing, there are so much more to do there. They have a lot of museums, such as the Titanic Museum which is a half-scale, two storied attraction in the shape of Titanic itself. They have around a dozen of champhionship golf courses, several lakes, wineries, an IMAX theatre, and even the Silver Dollar City, which is said to be one of the most successful theme parks in the U.S. Read the rest of this entry »
