Spain 4 - 1 Russia

David VillaLet it be known that from now on I am also a fan of Spain’s national football (or soccer for you the unconverted) team. The underachiever they might be known as, but tonight they played as beautiful and brilliant piece of footballing I am lucky enough to watch. This match I will remember for a very, very long time.

Although I’ve read before on the BBC UK Sports that Spain has the material to be Euro 2008’s champions, I am still a little bit skeptical about it. But since tonight, I am a believer!! Euro 2008 Results So Far

Euro 2008 WebsiteUpdate : Actually I’m kind of surprised lately because in only 2 weeks this post is almost exceed my most popular post. Then I found out that the reason for this is because of Euro 2008. It seems that some people who searched the keyword “Euro 2008 results so far” on Google end up on this post.

Out of curiosity, I tried searching that same phrase on Google and this blog post is ranked third for that keyword. This is a lesson that putting the right keyword as the title of your website, blog post title or even blog post content can bring visitor to your site. If you have read my last post regarding Euro 2008 then you must surely knew that I cannot watch Euro 2008 Championships matches because of some legal issues. But fortunately I have some temporary solution for my inability to watch the matches, that is by watching the Live Commentary of the matches on BBC Sport UK.

Of course nothing can actually substitutes watching the real match itself live, but for now I have to settle for it. As it happened, the Czech Republic won by 1 - 0 against co-host Switzerland and Portugal won by 2 - 0 against Turkey. There goes my chance of watching Cristiano Ronaldo play. I Can’t Watch Euro 2008!

Last night, Europe’s most awaited Football Championships has started. And just like many others football (or soccer for you Americans) I just can’t wait to watch it. But as it happened, I cannot watch the first game between co-host Switzerland and Czech Republic.

You see, I am using cable TV networks to watch the local channels here in Indonesia. But as it happened, the local TV channel who is the official broadcaster of Euro 2008 in Indonesia which is RCTI, is having some sort of agreement that the cable TV networks cannot broadcast the Championships Matches because of legal matter.
