Make Sure

I remember the time when I don’t even really know what a life insurance really is. It felt like quite some time ago. Right now, you can be sure that at least one of your friends is an insurance agent. It could even be said that one of your relative is an agent. I guess it is becoming not just an option but a must.

With life, it is hard to actually predict what will happen to you tomorrow. We all like to think that we are going to live forever, but we know quite well that it is impossible. Sooner or later we will leave this world behind us. To make sure that those loved ones whom we leave behind is cared for. Read the rest of this entry »

Letting It Go

I am still in the mood for another post, so here we go again. Regarding my last post, I suddenly remember that beside trying to hold back or postpone the aging process, people also want to have a healthy skin. Healthy as in being as clean and free from acne is considered one of the most important.

I know that having been a teenager myself, how young people feel self conscious whenever they got this big huge acne right in the tip of their nose, while they are going on a date that same day. Whether it is because of the influence of today’s media, or it is because of a person’s need to be acknowledged, I am not in a position to say so. Read the rest of this entry »

Rather Unhealthy

It has been a while since the last time I got sick. I assume it is because I always try to eat and rest properly, workout regularly and take supplements regularly. I don’t really like being sick because it makes me unable to do my daily activities as well as usual. Well, that being the case, I don’t think that no one wants to get sick either.

I have been experiencing mild symptoms of a cold lately. Sore and itchy throat, runny nose, a slight rise in body temperature and feeling a bit weak. It has been a while indeed, and judging from the usual 3 days incubation rule, it must be because I didn’t get enough rest after the outing I had with the people in my work department. We Are What We Eat

My sister and I got into a little discussion this afternoon, when we stopped by a certain mall to get something cold to drink and something to eat. We both like to work out and we usually are quite picky over what we eat most of the time. So eating junk food and drinking sodas or iced lattes with whipped cream is usually last on our list.

We got into this little conversation about how we must do an extra exercise routine just to burn off those calories. Anyway she said to me that she read or heard somewhere about how people tend to wear the very best they can afford to make them look good but they didn’t care much about what they eat, even eating junk food which actually don’t do any good to them.

Well, eating and dressing up is two very different experiences. They are also very personal, so I guess different people have different preferences also. Some people care more about how they look, some people care more about how they feel. Read the rest of this entry »
