Not Feeling Very Well

I am not feeling very well this past few days. Perhaps because I was always staying out late and didn’t get enough sleep, just like I wrote on my previous post. Actually, it could be that I am just having a light flu, nothing a good old herbal medication can’t heal. It was actually not the body that I was most afraid of.

I have a rather oily face skin, and I have to clean my face regularly or risk getting acne on my face. It was because when I didn’t get enough sleep, my face gets oilier. I don’t really want that to happen because whenever I got acne on my face, it won’t go away easily and usually require a lot of effort on my part. Read the rest of this entry »

In the Still of the Night

And I am still sitting in front of my PC, writing blog posts after blog posts. Sooner or later I am going to break from all of this. I think I really need a vacation. Perhaps I will get lucky this weekend, we’ll just have to wait and see. I have to admit that I didn’t get much sleep as of late.

Oh, that reminds me. If you are planning to lose your weight, then you better get enough quality sleep. I read somewhere that if you didn’t get enough sleep on a day, it actually hampers your body’s ability to burn fat. An Alternative To Losing It

I still firmly believe that the most effective and rewarding way to lose your weight is by doing a combination of eating responsibly and working out regularly. I was never really much overweight all my life and I quite enjoy doing various sports so it comes rather easily for me.

I know that some people are simply not that lucky in that they have been overweight almost all their life. I believe it will be harder for them to lose weight especially if they haven’t been active or involved in sports that require a lot of physical activities. Losing It

What I am talking about is losing weight of course, because with reality series such as The Biggest Loser people are starting to understand that being overweight is not healthy. Some people said that big is beautiful, it could be so yes but healthy? I think we need to also look at the cause to people being overweight.

There are a lot of reasons why people are overweight, either through their own fault or through other people’s fault. When I just started to work, I gained more than 20lbs because I started eating and snacking more and working out less. It was that way for almost 4 years. Not Going To Be Enough

I know that keeping a routine exercise schedule is good, but to be honest, if you are just doing light exercise it won’t be enough to actually lose weight. You have to do moderate exercise regularly and even then you have to watch what you eat, and how much you eat.

Losing weight and shaping up is not an easy task to do, I can tell. It takes guts, perseverance and discipline. That is why not many people are able to lose their weight, not to mention that every person is unique and have conditions that may or may not help them in losing weight. Read the rest of this entry »
