If you can afford the extra expenses, having your own car is convenient. There is a lot of choice of cars now, so I can say that there is a car for everybody. It is not just convenient, but can also make your life easier. Of course being able to afford a car and the expenses that is required to maintain it is not enough nowadays.
You will also need to think about security and safety, both for you and for your vehicle. The vehicle needs to be safe to use and not to mention equipped with security measure such as alarm. Even then it might not be enough, because you would also benefit from having car insurance.
You can say that nowadays having car insurance is mandatory, that you really really need to have one to minimize your risk. There are a lot of car insurance companies, so you really need to choose carefully if you don’t want to end up regretting your choice. Anyway, it is getting late so I better get some rest.
