A Walk in the Park

A couple of days ago I was taking my children for a walk around the neighborhood. It was Saturday afternoon, the breeze was light and the weather is nice. The sun is setting down to the west, bathing the treetops with a gentle golden glow.

At times like this you came to realize how lucky you are, but also felt sad for those people who are not so lucky, especially people who lives in poverty, war, famine and many more condition that unable them to live properly and peacefully.

There I was, strolling around in a park near my house with my children, and seeing many other people riding a bike, running, playing soccer and taking their babies in strollers, enjoying the cool afternoon air and gentle sunlight, praying that somehow, someday, all the people in the world can leave in peace and harmony.

I don’t know if that is even possible, but I really wish it is possible. Only time can tell…
