A Measure of Security
In order to make our life more secure we have to sacrifice comfort and simplicity to a certain extent. Of course I have yet to grasp the full meaning of it, and writing about it in the middle of the night did not actually help things. I was torn between imagining my soft and warm bed and thinking why we are so concerned about security nowadays.
I remember being complained by some of my user about why they should change their log in password regularly. Not to mention they have to change it according to some set of rules that makes it harder for them to think of a good one. I know it can be a pain sometime, but it was deemed necessary so they still have to do it whether they like it or not.
It is the same with security cameras; it is a must in today’s environments. I know they placed one in every corner and in some cases even more than one. We just have to get used to it because although it makes us uncomfortable it is also necessary to prevent or even solve problems that may arise.
I guess it won’t be long before they start to implant security measures directly into our bodies. I don’t think I’m going to like it, though. For now the pull of my soft bed is stronger than I can resist, so good night and see you again later!
