In the eye of the beholder, or so they say. We have different standards in giving values to things, and that is just the natural way things works. It is rare to find things in live which we all can unanimously say beautiful, be it a person, a place or even a thing. In a way it makes the world an interesting place to live in.

Appearance matters most to me, since what I see tend to affect how I’m seeing something. I know that we should not judge a book by its cover, but I believe that the initial thought or reaction to something we see is something that can’t be dismissed. Life is one giant roller coaster ride that never actually ends. It turns, it bends, it goes up and it goes down, again and again. It might not be the best of metaphors to actually describe what life is, but for now it will do. Enough talking about life, now let’s talk about football instead?

Living in a football crazed country such as Indonesia sure has its privileges, and one of them is the ability to watch ALL the matches LIVE and for FREE. Here I am, still awake watching the football game between Chile and Spain, feeling neither tired or sleepy. I know it was just some kind of illusion because the moment I lay my head on my pillow, I’ll fall asleep before I have the chance to count to ten. So why am I still forcing myself to be awake?

I guess I was a little confused as of late, and I really need to clear my head over a thing or two. I have rarely entered contemplating mode for a while, so I am still trying to come to terms with it. Sooner or later though, I have to sleep or else I might get tired later in the day. Riding a motorcycle through Jakarta’s vehicle laden street is absolutely not good for your health. Especially considering that there are many unseen dangers waiting to befall you if you are careless. I especially dislike how those drivers and riders lacked proper street manners.

One of the most annoying traits is how people in Jakarta tend to make a turn without ever using their turning light. They didn’t even think twice about making a turn not from the left most lane. When you combine those two traits, it even becomes more endangering. Read the rest of this entry »

Goodbye, Italian football team! I hope we’ll be seeing you in another two years at the European stages and in another four years at the World stages again. I wish it could have been different for them, but I think this proves that the ball is indeed round.

It was a thrilling game two watch, especially in the latter stages of second half. Surprises after surprises keep on coming and it was joyful to watch.
