WordPress 2.7.1 Upgrade

Wordpress 2.7.1 DashboardJust a quick post here. As you can see from the screen shot, I’ve finally upgraded my WordPress version to 2.7.1. The dashboard looks nicer than the previous version that I used. I haven’t really checked all the new features yet, perhaps later on.

There’s one thing I noticed about the new features, especially in the Add New Posts section. They actually have a word counter on the bottom left of the writing pane! Now that’s a really useful new feature, at least for me though. The whole thing seems a little bit unresponsive compared to the last version that I used, which is version 2.5 RC1, but I just have to get use to it.

Anyway, it does feel good to do something new for this blog after two months of near inactivity. I hope I can go back to writing more post(s). Okay, just thought I let you guys know. See you later!

Vacation At Branson

It has been a while since the last time I had a vacation. I could really use one to be honest with you, but then again I have to be patient and wait for the right means and opportunity. Speaking of which, I found on the net this nice looking place for a vacation called Branson.

Branson is a city in the state of Missouri in the U.S. By the look of it they seem like a perfect place for a vacation. They boast a full range of shows; Chinese acrobats, Music Legends, Incredible Magic and even more! Just reading their list of shows is enough to make me want to go there even more!

Even if shows are not your thing, there are so much more to do there. They have a lot of museums, such as the Titanic Museum which is a half-scale, two storied attraction in the shape of Titanic itself. They have around a dozen of champhionship golf courses, several lakes, wineries, an IMAX theatre, and even the Silver Dollar City, which is said to be one of the most successful theme parks in the U.S. Read the rest of this entry »

First Casualties

Strange title for this post actually, but to tell the truth I just can’t think of anything right now. I rarely get more than 5 hours of sleep this week, and even then the workload at the office is starting to dishearten me. As usual, the thing that keep me going is by firmly believing that it will become less busy someday. I just have to keep holding on and believe.

Just like Jasmine and Jorge perhaps. The decision is a little surprising, because I didn’t think Jorge would have to come home this soon. You can tell that they were both very disappointed just by looking at their faces. At times like these, you just have to hold on and keep on believing in yourself, which is kinda hard in my opinion. American Idol Season 8 Top 13 Show

Ahhh, it has been a while since this blog of mine sees a new post! I have to admit that given the circumstances, it was mainly my fault. Of course there are outside influence as well, but nevertheless I should have not succumbed to procrastination. What can I say, sometimes I need to take a break from doing the same thing over and over again. This time I guess I needed some time off from blogging.

Not anymore though! There’s a good reason why I feel compelled to write again after taking a break for awhile, and what better reason than American Idol? It has been awhile since American Idol season 7 ended, and season 8 is now entering the final stages already, the top 13!
