Happy Idul Fitri!

For those of you who celebrates the Idul Fitri, let me say to you Minal Aidin Wal Faidzin, and I ask for your forgiveness also. I can hear the mosques near where I stay chanting Allahu Akbar and also the sounds of Drums (or Bedug in Indonesian) repeating on and on.

I can feel the excitement, happiness and also thankfulness in the air. It is so thick you can almost smell it everywhere. Even if you don’t celebrate it yourself it is still an enchanting experience. Oh, there go the firecrackers! Read the rest of this entry »

What a Holiday!

Right now I’m in the middle of my most relaxed vacation yet. It all started when I was transferred to another team at my workplace, which mainly handles my office’s networks and stuffs like that, which I remember writing about sometime ago.

I remember that, when I was still handling customer’s complaints, it was usual to have the office called at the middle of the night, and it was my job to pickup the phone and help solve whatever problem that our customer is experiencing. Read the rest of this entry »

Ways to Stay Healthy?

To continue the topic from my last post about health, it seems that many people are searching for many ways to improve their helath. The most easiest way is to exercise regularly, but for people whose exercising is not a part of their habit, and especially for overweight people, exercising can be a daunting task.

It is definitely not easy to exercise by yourself, and that’s why people flocks to the gym, or sports center, or even do team sports. Mens Sana In Corpore Sano

Mens Sana In Corpore Sano, which literally means ‘A Healthy Mind In A Healthy Body’. To tell the truth, people nowadays have better health awareness than it used to be, but sadly this, in my opinion, is also because the general population health level is declining.

There are a lot more obese or overweight people nowadays, which is definitely not healthy, thanks to our unhealthy eating habit. Being overweight also have non-health related problem beside the commonly associated health problem.

All this problem makes people aware that they have to do something to stay healthy, because living age expectations are also lower. Beside eating responsibly, we also have to exercise our body and mind regularly to keep them healthy. Read the rest of this entry »

Presently at the Office

Today’s been quite hectic for me, but to tell the truth, almost everyday is hectic now, especially since I moved to the new section around 2 months ago. It was hectic, tiring and sometimes annoying, but it was more fun than I’ve ever had on my previous section. Everyday I am doing something that I loved to do, I consider myself lucky and blessed.

My current work does have some ups and downs, but so far I am enjoying it as much as I can. Although I do get carried away sometimes, since I am the type of person that found it hard to leave something I am doing, unless it is finished, and this tendency, coupled with the workload, makes me can’t go home as early as I used to do.

Thank God my wife understands, although she did mention that she would prefer that I went back earlier than I did lately. It was hard, but I tried my best. I can’t really say that it was very successful, but I really need to lighten up a little since I felt that I tried to do everything myself whenever the opportunity arises.
